Testimonials
I have been taking various training classes with Kim for 2 years now. I have a very stubborn
Shih Tzu who does not respond to treats and also does not enjoy going to training class.
However, with Kim’s guidance and positive re-enforcements, Daisey has succeeded in
obtaining her Delta and ITA Pet Therapy registrations. We now visit several schools and a
nursing home on a regular basis and Daisey enjoys her “work” very much. She is always
excited to get her working scarf on!

"Kim has helped me train a few different dogs; I would recommend her to anyone who is
looking for a wise, fun approach to cementing the bond between family and pet. Kim is
insightful and is motivated to help your dog through positive practices."

I remember one time the dogs were able to play at training. Bailey Rose barked at another dog and Kim
said "she is just telling another dog they were in her space." I liked that statement. I was feeling like Bailey
Rose had done something wrong and Kim put it in its proper perspective which I appreciated so much.
Kim's gentle voice and caring manner went a long way to help Bailey Rose obey my commands. Kim knew
when to have us a 'do over' or when to heap praises on us and our dogs.
Thanks, Kim for all the work you do/did. I couldn't ask for a better trainer for my dog.

I love training with Kim, she makes learning
fun, following commands easy and gives me
treats. On top of that, my mom is pleased with
my progress and gives me lots of love, praise
and more treats because I'm such a good dog.
I can't wait until my next class.
- Colleen (If I could talk, this is what I'd say. :-)
Kim has taught me to handle situations with my
dog with confidence and most important, they
worked! She doesn't criticize, she teaches with
a calm voice which kept me and my dog
relaxed.

Kim is a master teacher in the canine world. Just
like children, dogs have different learning styles.
Kim has a wealth of ideas to address any
challenge or issue. She constantly models to the
human students how to use patience,
understanding, and positive reinforcement to
reach mastery with our four-legged companions.
Kim shows concern for the entire well-being of
her canine students. For example, she alerted
us about the large joints of our puppies and
suggested that maybe another type of dog food
would be better for them. This concern was later
confirmed by our pups' veterinarian.
